Best Halal Food in New Jersey

I discovered this place back in 2021 when I moved to NJ. Their flaming Zinger and cheese fries were probably my main things. I started coming here again and I can’t deny the fact that their food is just top tier. When you’re in need of a good chicken platter, burger, or any quick bite this is the spot!! (You’re gonna be craving the chicken over rice on a daily).

Grabbed lunch a short while ago at The Halal Spot in Old Bridge. I have been here on quite a few occasions and this place never disappoints. The food is outstanding and the people are very friendly and extremely welcoming. My “go-to” dish is the chicken and rice platter with salad. Thank you for serving the absolute best food of any restaurant in the area. Butter chicken platter with white sauce is untouchable. Need a little bit more white sauce per serving but the rice is super flavorful and the chicken is tender and the SAUCE oooooommmmmmmggggggg. Pitas are soft and perfect. Little pillows.

Great place! The hot sauce definitely needs to be hotter, but their Halal Spot mixed platter with fries, rice, chicken, beef was amazing! Shout out to the people working that night.. I came in about 40 minutes before closing and they were cleaning up to end the day, still got me my food in under 5 minutes.
